Join The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) for an event we are thrilled to be bringing back, Tails and Trails 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk! This year’s event will be on March 30, 2019 at North Lakes Park. This year's race will feature a course that runs along the North Lakes Trails all the way to the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center. Proceeds from this event go towards DASF’s many programs, such as our Adoption Subsidy Grant Program as well as our Emergency Medical Grant Program.

The 5K will be a timed by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing and the timing chip will be located on your bib number. You must wear your bib number on your torso on the outside of your clothing to be timed correctly and eligible for awards. Results will be posted at the race as well as the Chip-2-Chip Race Timing website.

Online Registration is now closed! Day of registrations will be held from 7:30 am - 8:30 am on Saturday! See you then!

After the run, join us for a ½ price adoption event at the City of Denton Animal Shelter. Adoption fees subsidized by DASF!

This is a pet friendly event! More info coming soon!

Since its founding in 2006, The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) has been a non-profit organization whose mission is to Save More Denton Area Animals. Each year the Denton Animal Shelter serves over 5,400 abandoned pets and as the population of Denton grows, so does the need for DASF’s crucial programs and strategic partnerships with Denton area non-profit organizations working to make life better for at-risk populations.
