How can I make a recurring donation on Facebook?

When you use Facebook to donate to a nonprofit, you can choose to make either a one-time donation or a recurring donation.

One-time donations made on Facebook may appear as 'Recurring' on your bank statement, but will only be charged one time. Check that your donation is not set to recurring in your Facebook Payment Settings.

Before you set up recurring donations

Before you set up recurring donations, know that:

  • After you click Donate, your donation will be processed immediately. You'll get an email confirmation with the details of your donation and future payments.

  • Recurring donations will be processed on the same date every month. They will process for the same amount of money you chose when you set up recurring payments.

  • Recurring donations are only available for nonprofit fundraisers.
