Help the animals at no cost to you! For 2011, DASF received $37,800 from the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Program thanks to our supporters. Now it is time to re-enroll your Kroger link to DASF! You may enroll now until December 31, 2012. Note that every Kroger Plus card must be re-scanned to enroll once every year.

It’s easy! Follow these steps to enroll:

  1. Print the bar code above or print off the Kroger letter at http://www.krogerneighbortoneighbor.com/pdf/10000084046.pdf

  2. Take the bar code or letter, along with your Kroger Plus Card, to any Kroger cashier to be scanned.

  3. Only one initial scan is needed; you may simply use your Kroger card each time you visit a Kroger store.

If you don’t have a Kroger Plus card, please consider getting one. Ask a cashier or customer service. Nothing is added to your purchase cost; there is no additional cost to you. Each year, Kroger grants participating nonprofits in Texas and Louisiana $1.0 million collectively. Awards are based on a formula, not just on purchase amounts. The accumulation period for DASF to share in grant awards is July 1, 2012 to April 30, 2013. Enrollment of participants for DASF is June 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

The recent award of $37,800 has been allocated partially to the current shelter for medical treatments and adoption subsidies; and the remainder to the new shelter project. All of the funds will save more animals!

Take the extra step and tell your friends:
You can help us even more by copying the bar code or Kroger letter and passing it around to all your friends, family, business colleagues, neighbors, etc. The more people who link their Kroger card to DASF, the more funds are earned for the animals!
