ADOPTION SUBSIDY GRANTS

Adoption Subsidy Grants – funding allows shelter management to lower adoption fees to enhance adoptability of certain pets, specifically seniors, special needs, hard-to-adopt, and pets that have been overlooked.  These funds also provide flexibility to the shelter to offer “special adoption events” such as half-price adoption days. Lower adoption fees increases affordability and thus increases the pool of potential adopters.

Grants are frequently given to the Linda McNatt Animal Care & Adoption Center.  Thousands of pets have been adopted through this program.
